Used Laptop Price in BD 50,000 to 70,000 Taka (2026 List)

If your budget is 50,000 to 70,000 taka, you are shopping in the premium end of the used laptop market. This guide lists the real used laptop price in BD 50,000 to 70,000 taka at Megabuy BD and explains who should buy which model. The short answer: this money buys a 12th or 13th Gen Intel or a Ryzen 6000/7000 business laptop with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. The HP EliteBook 840 G9 is the best value, and the EliteBook 845 G9 with Ryzen 7 is the strongest performer.

What Changes Above 50,000 Taka

In the 40,000 taka range you mostly find 10th and 11th Gen laptops from 2020 and 2021. Spending a little more moves you to models released from 2022 onwards. The jump is bigger than the price gap suggests.

Newer processors with more cores

Intel's 12th and 13th Gen chips mix performance cores with efficiency cores. A 12th Gen Core i5 in an EliteBook 840 G9 has ten cores in total, compared with four in an 11th Gen Core i5. On the AMD side, the Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U has eight full cores and much stronger Radeon 680M built-in graphics.

DDR5 memory and taller screens

HP's EliteBook 840 G9 and 845 G9 moved to DDR5 memory and a 14-inch 16:10 screen. A 16:10 panel is a little taller than the usual 16:9, so you see more lines of a document or code file without scrolling.

Better cameras and microphones

Laptops from this period were designed after video meetings became normal. Many have sharper webcams, noise-reducing microphones and louder speakers, which helps freelancers and anyone who joins client calls every day.

These laptops are in stock at the time of writing. Prices can change, so the product page always shows the latest price.

Best Picks by Need

Best value: HP EliteBook 840 G9

At 54,400 taka, the HP EliteBook 840 G9 with 12th Gen Core i5 is the cheapest way into a 2022 design. You get DDR5 memory, the taller 16:10 screen and the newer processor for about 10,000 taka less than the G10. For office managers, students and freelancers, it is the model we suggest first.

Most power: HP EliteBook 845 G9 Ryzen 7

Programmers, data analysts and people who edit photos should look at the HP EliteBook 845 G9 with Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U. Eight cores and sixteen threads make code builds and exports faster, and the Radeon 680M is one of the strongest built-in graphics chips found in a business laptop.

Lowest price with 16GB and 512GB

The EliteBook 845 G7 and 845 G8 both sit at 51,900 taka. Choose the G8 if you can, because its Ryzen 5000 chip is a newer design than the G7's Ryzen 4000.

Touch screen and convertible

The EliteBook x360 1040 G7 folds back into a tablet and comes with a large 32GB of RAM. It suits managers who present to clients or people who keep dozens of apps open. The Surface Laptop 5 has a sharp 3:2 touch screen and a very slim body for those who want a premium feel. See our used Surface Laptop range for more options.

Mac users

The used MacBook Pro 13-inch M1 is just above this range at 72,000 taka. If you edit video in Final Cut or work in macOS-only apps, the small extra spend is worth it for Apple's M1 chip and long battery life.

3D, CAD and gaming

None of the laptops in this list has a separate graphics card. For heavy AutoCAD, Revit or gaming, look for a laptop with a dedicated NVIDIA GPU instead, such as a ZBook workstation, and ask our team what is in stock.

Why a Used Premium Laptop Can Beat a New Budget One

A new laptop at 60,000 taka is usually a consumer model with a plastic body and a mid-range chip. A used EliteBook at the same price was sold new for much more and was built for daily office abuse. Here is how they usually compare:

• Build: business laptops use aluminium or magnesium parts and stronger hinges.
• Keyboard: spill-resistant, backlit keyboards that feel better over long hours.
• Security: fingerprint readers, IR cameras on some models and firmware protection.
• Upgrades: many have a replaceable SSD, and some have RAM slots for later upgrades.

A new laptop wins on warranty length and a fresh battery. If those matter most, buy new. If you want the most performance for the money, a recent used business laptop is hard to beat.

How to Choose Between These Models

1. Compare the generation gap, not only the price. The 840 G9 and 840 G10 are about 10,000 taka apart. For office work the difference is small, so the G9 is usually the smarter buy.
2. Intel or AMD? AMD Ryzen models (845, 645) give more cores for the money. Intel models (840, 640) suit software that asks for Intel or Thunderbolt docks.
3. 16GB or 32GB RAM? 16GB covers office, coding and light editing. Choose 32GB only if you run virtual machines or very large files.
4. Do you need touch? Touch and convertible designs add cost. Skip them if you only type and browse.
5. Check the unit before you pay. Ask our team about battery health and condition, then use our used laptop buying checklist when it arrives.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which is the best used laptop between 50,000 and 70,000 taka?

For most buyers, the HP EliteBook 840 G9 with a 12th Gen Core i5, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD gives the best balance at 54,400 taka. If you need more processing power for coding or photo work, the EliteBook 845 G9 with an eight-core Ryzen 7 Pro is the stronger choice.

Can I get a 13th Gen laptop in this budget?

Yes. The HP EliteBook 840 G10 with a 13th Gen Core i5, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD is in our list at 64,900 taka. If you only need a 13th Gen chip and can spend less, the Dell Latitude 5440 with a 13th Gen i5 and a touch screen costs less, at 46,000 taka.

Do any of these laptops have a graphics card?

No. All the laptops in this list use built-in graphics. The Radeon 680M in the EliteBook 845 G9 is strong enough for photo editing and light games, but heavy 3D, CAD rendering and modern games need a laptop with a dedicated NVIDIA graphics card.

Is a used MacBook better than a used EliteBook at this price?

It depends on your software. A MacBook Pro M1 has excellent battery life and is great for Final Cut and design apps on macOS. An EliteBook is better if you need Windows software, more ports, a wired network port on some models or easier repairs in Bangladesh.
