Dell Latitude Price in Bangladesh: Models and Series Explained

The Dell Latitude price in Bangladesh for a used unit at Megabuy BD starts at 26,900 taka and goes up to 46,000 taka for a 13th Gen model with a touch screen. This guide is for students, office staff and small businesses who want a tough, simple business laptop and need to know which Latitude to pick. In short: a 10th or 11th Gen Latitude 5000 series gives the best value, while older 6th Gen models are cheaper but cannot officially run Windows 11.

What Is a Dell Latitude?

Latitude is Dell's business laptop line, sold mainly to companies, banks, schools and government offices. It sits apart from Dell's home laptops such as Inspiron. Latitudes focus on reliable keyboards, plenty of ports, easy repair and long-term spare parts rather than flashy designs.

Because large organisations replace their laptops every few years, many good Latitudes come into the used market. That makes them one of the most common used laptop choices in Bangladesh, next to HP EliteBook and Lenovo ThinkPad.

Latitude Series Explained: 3000, 5000, 7000 and 9000

The first digit of a Latitude model tells you its level. Higher numbers mean better build and more features.

How to Read a Latitude Model Number

Since 2019, Dell has used a simple four-digit system. Take the Latitude 5420:

• 5 is the series (5000).
• 4 is the screen size (14-inch). A 5 here means 15.6-inch.
• 20 is the model year group. 10 means the 2020 models with 10th Gen Intel, 20 means 11th Gen, 30 means 12th Gen and 40 means 13th Gen.

Older models follow a slightly different pattern. The Latitude 5400 and 7400 are 2019 models with 8th Gen Intel, the 7490 is a 2018 model with 8th Gen Intel, and the E7470 is from 2016 with 6th Gen Intel.

In 2025, Dell retired the Latitude name for new laptops and moved to a new "Dell Pro" brand. Existing Latitude models are still widely used, and they will keep coming into the used market for years.

Which Latitude Should You Buy?

Lowest budget: Latitude 5400 or 7490

Under 28,000 taka, the Latitude 5400 and the Latitude 7490 with Core i5 8th Gen are the smart picks. Both have quad-core 8th Gen chips that are on Microsoft's Windows 11 support list. The 7490 is the slimmer, premium 7000 series model; the 5400 is a little newer and the cheapest Latitude we sell.

Avoid unless the price is right: Latitude E7470

The E7470 is a well-built 7000 series laptop, but its 6th Gen processor is not on Microsoft's supported list for Windows 11. Microsoft ended regular support for Windows 10 in October 2025. Choose it only if your budget is very tight and you are comfortable with that limit.

Best value: Latitude 5410 with 16GB

The Latitude 5410 with 10th Gen Core i5 and 16GB RAM gives you a modern processor and enough memory for many years of office work, online classes and multitasking. If you rarely open more than a few apps, the 8GB version saves 3,000 taka.

Better graphics: Latitude 5420 and 7420

The 11th Gen Core i5 in the Latitude 5420 and the Latitude 7420 brings Intel Iris Xe graphics. That makes photo editing, Canva, video playback and external monitors smoother than on 10th Gen models. The 7420 at 32,890 taka also includes 16GB RAM, which makes it a strong deal at the time of writing.

Newest model: Latitude 5440 touch

The Dell Latitude 5440 with 13th Gen Core i5 is the most modern Latitude in our stock. It has a 14-inch Full HD touch screen, 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD. It suits programmers, freelancers and anyone who wants a laptop that stays fast for a long time.

Why Buy a Used Latitude?

• Built for daily office use: strong hinges, spill-resistant keyboards on many models and tested durability.
• Plenty of ports: most 5000 and 7000 models keep USB-A, HDMI and a wired network port, so you rarely need adapters.
• Easy parts and repair: batteries, keyboards, chargers and SSDs for popular Latitudes are easy to find in Bangladesh.
• More for the money: a used Latitude 5000 series costs far less than a new laptop with similar build quality.

How to Choose a Used Dell Latitude

1. Prefer 8th Gen or newer. That keeps you on Microsoft's Windows 11 supported processor list.
2. Pick the series by your use. 5000 for most people, 7000 if you carry the laptop all day, 3000 only if the price is clearly lower.
3. Check RAM. 8GB is fine for basic work. 16GB is better for heavy multitasking and longer life.
4. Look at the processor generation before i5 or i7. An 11th Gen Core i5 often beats an older Core i7 in daily use.
5. Ask about condition, then test on delivery. Ask our team about battery health and cosmetic condition, and use our used laptop buying checklist when the laptop arrives.
