NEC LCD-AS193Mi 19 inch IPS Square Monitor (Used)

NEC LCD-AS193Mi Price in Bangladesh

Searching for the NEC LCD-AS193Mi price in Bangladesh? This is a used 19-inch square NEC monitor with an IPS panel and a 1280 x 1024 resolution. It was imported from Japan as a Japanese market model.

The 5:4 shape gives more height than a widescreen of similar size. Accountants, data entry staff and shop counters often prefer it. Its IPS panel keeps colours steady from the side.

About the NEC LCD-AS193Mi

A 2013 NEC Business Monitor

NEC launched the LCD-AS193Mi series in Japan in August 2013. It came in white and in black, and this unit is the black LCD-AS193Mi-BK. A white LED backlight cut power use compared with the earlier AS192M model.

Why a Square Screen Still Matters

A 5:4 screen is almost as tall as it is wide. Long forms, ledgers and billing software show more rows at once. Many offices still choose square monitors for exactly this reason.

IPS Instead of TN

Most budget 19-inch monitors use TN panels with narrow viewing angles. This NEC uses IPS, rated at 178 degrees in every direction. A customer across the counter sees the same colours as the cashier behind it.

Design & Performance

Design and Build

With the stand, the monitor measures about 412.5 x 403.1 x 205.1mm. It weighs around 4.0kg with the stand and 3.5kg without it. The stand tilts 20 degrees back and 5 degrees forward, but it does not swivel.

A round base keeps the screen stable on a busy desk. The back has a 3.5mm audio input, a headphone jack, DVI-D and VGA. As a pre-owned unit, the frame may show light marks, so ask us first.

Performance in Daily Use

NEC rates brightness at 250 cd/m², with a 1000:1 typical contrast ratio. Response time is listed at 14ms, which is slower than many TN monitors. It is fine for documents and video, but not a gaming screen.

ECO Mode lowers brightness to about 200 or 100 cd/m² to save power. Normal use is listed at 15W, with 23W at maximum and audio on. The non-glare surface helps under bright office lights.

Who It's For

Accounts and Data Entry Teams

Accounting software and spreadsheets often use long, narrow tables. The square screen shows more rows of numbers without endless scrolling up and down. A comfortable mouse makes long data entry sessions much easier too.

Shop and Pharmacy Counters

Shop counters have little free space, and staff and customers often look at the same screen together. The compact square body and wide IPS angles suit that job well. Adding a mini UPS protects billing during load shedding.

Reading and Research

Students and writers who read long PDF files every day like the taller layout. Full pages fit more naturally than on a short, wide screen. The built-in speakers handle recorded lecture videos without any extra gear.

Simple Buying Guide

Square or Widescreen?

Pick a square screen for forms, documents and billing. Choose widescreen if you mostly watch films or edit video timelines. Think about the software you use for most of your working day.

Use DVI When You Can

DVI-D gives a cleaner digital signal than VGA. Many older office desktops have both ports on the back panel. Use VGA only if a DVI port is not available.

Check Your Accessories

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the NEC LCD-AS193Mi price in Bangladesh?

The current price is shown on this product page. Used monitor prices change as stock changes. Please call our team to confirm the latest price before you order. We can also tell you if more units are available for an office.

Does the NEC AS193Mi work on 220V?

NEC lists the power input as AC 100 to 240V at 50 or 60Hz. That range covers normal mains power in Bangladesh. The supplied cord may still be a Japanese type. Ask our team which power cord comes with the unit.

Is this monitor good for gaming?

It is not designed for fast gaming. The 14ms response time and square 1280 x 1024 screen suit office work better. Casual browser games and videos are fine. Look at a Full HD widescreen model if gaming matters to you.
