About the Nokia 2720 Flip

A Flip Phone With KaiOS

Unlike simple Series 30+ phones, the 2720 Flip runs KaiOS 2.5.2. KaiOS adds a browser, Wi-Fi and a small app store. App support on KaiOS has shrunk in recent years, so do not buy it for apps.

Two Screens and a 2MP Camera

The inner 2.8-inch screen shows QVGA 240 x 320 menus and text. A 1.3-inch outer screen shows the time and incoming calls while the phone is closed. On the back is a 2MP camera with an LED flash.

Snapdragon 205 and 4GB Storage

Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 chip with 512MB RAM and 4GB storage. A dedicated microSD slot adds room for photos and music. This is more memory than most basic keypad phones offer.

Design & Performance

Design and Build

Closed, the phone measures about 104.8 x 54.5 x 18.7 mm, and it weighs around 118 grams. The clamshell design protects the main screen and keypad when it sits in a bag. HMD offered it in Black, Grey and Red.

The phone charges through micro-USB and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The keys are large and the fold gives a familiar feel for calls. You can compare it with other keypad models in our button phone collection.

Performance in Daily Use

For calls, SMS, FM radio and contacts, the phone works like any keypad phone. The browser and Wi-Fi are handy for light tasks, but pages load slowly on a small screen. Think of it as a calling phone with a few extras.

The removable 1500mAh battery is rated up to 700 hours of standby on 3G. Using Wi-Fi, hotspot or 4G will drain the battery much faster. Charge it every night if you share data often.

Who It's For

Flip Phone Lovers

Some people simply enjoy the feel of opening a phone to talk. The 2720 Flip gives that classic experience with a modern 4G radio. The outer screen also saves you from opening it for every alert.

Users Who Need a Hotspot

The Wi-Fi hotspot lets you share mobile data with a laptop or tablet. This helps students and workers who carry a laptop but no router. Keep the phone plugged into a power bank when sharing data for long.

People Taking a Break From Smartphones

A flip phone keeps you reachable without endless feeds. KaiOS gives a browser for quick checks when you really need it. You will spend less time on screens and more time with people.

Simple Buying Guide

Know the App Limits

WhatsApp no longer works on KaiOS phones, including this model. Other KaiOS apps have also become limited over time. If messaging apps matter to you, choose a smartphone.

KaiOS or Series 30+?

Series 30+ phones like the Nokia 2660 Flip are simpler and focus on calls, SMS and radio. KaiOS phones add Wi-Fi, hotspot and a browser. Pick the one that matches how you really use a phone.

Check 4G Calling

Calls over 4G use VoLTE, which your operator must enable on your SIM. If VoLTE is not active, calls fall back to 2G or 3G. Ask your operator before you buy any 4G keypad phone.

Easy Steps to Check Before You Order

First, please make sure that you do not need WhatsApp, because it no longer runs on this phone or any KaiOS phone.

Next, check that both of your SIM cards are nano size, or replace old ones at your operator's customer centre.

Then, ask our team which colour is in stock, since this older model comes from limited imported batches.

Last, keep a micro-USB cable and charger ready at home, and ask us what is inside the box before ordering.

What's in the Box

Our sources do not confirm the box contents for this imported model. Items such as a charger or headset may vary. Please confirm the box contents with our team before ordering.

On delivery, check both screens, the hinge and the keys. Make a test call and connect to Wi-Fi once. Keep the box until you are satisfied.

Warranty

This Nokia 2720 Flip is an unofficial import, so it has no brand warranty in Bangladesh. It is a genuine Nokia phone that did not come through the local distributor. Ask our team to check the box and IMEI number with you before ordering.
