About the Honor X8d

A Big Battery in a Slim Body

Honor lists a 7000mAh typical capacity and 6800mAh rated capacity. Even so, the phone is just 7.5 mm thick and about 188g. That balance is rare at this price, since big batteries usually mean thick, heavy phones.

Bright AMOLED Screen

The 6.77-inch AMOLED panel has 1080 x 2392 resolution and shows 1.07 billion colours. Honor rates it at 800 nits typical, 1300 nits in high brightness mode and 3000 nits peak. It also uses 3840Hz PWM dimming to reduce flicker at low brightness.

Cameras for Sharp Photos

The rear has a 108MP main camera with an f/1.75 lens and a 5MP wide camera. You get up to 8x digital zoom and an LED flash. The 16MP front camera handles bright selfies and 1080p video calls.

Design & Performance

Design and Build

The X8d measures 162.9 x 76.31 x 7.5 mm. Aluminosilicate glass protects the screen, and Honor rates the phone for IP65 water and dust resistance. Honor also highlights 2m drop resistance on its product page.

Colours here are Light Blue, Velvet Grey and Velvet Black. There is no 3.5mm jack, so audio uses USB Type-C or Bluetooth. Stereo speakers support up to 300% volume for loud rooms.

Performance in Daily Use

The Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 is an octa-core chip with four 2.9GHz cores and four 1.9GHz cores. With 8GB RAM and the Adreno 610 GPU, everyday apps open quickly and switch smoothly. Casual and mid-level games run well at balanced settings.

MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 comes preinstalled, so the software is very current. The 45W HONOR SuperCharge adapter is included in the box. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor and 2D face recognition handle security.

Who It's For

Video and Social Media Fans

The AMOLED panel shows deep blacks and rich colours for YouTube, Facebook and streaming apps. High brightness makes it easy to watch outdoors in the afternoon sun. Long battery life means more episodes and matches between each charge.

Professionals on the Move

Sales staff, teachers and field officers spend hours on calls and maps. The 7000mAh battery covers a long working day for many users, even with heavy navigation. Add a spare charger for your office desk.

People Who Want a Light Phone

Many big-battery phones feel heavy in the pocket. At about 188g and 7.5 mm, the X8d stays comfortable for one-hand use. It suits anyone tired of carrying a bulky, heavy phone all day.
