About the Haier ES40H-CK3 40L Water Heater

The CK3 Series in Brief

CK3 is Haier's white horizontal water heater line for Bangladesh. The "(BD)" in the model name marks the local version. The series comes in 30, 40 and 50 litre sizes with the same basic design.

Why Choose 40 Litres

A 40 litre tank is a popular middle ground for many Bangladeshi homes. It covers several showers in a row on a winter morning. It also leaves some warm water for washing up or laundry afterwards.

A Simple, Timeless Look

White geysers blend into almost any bathroom colour scheme. The CK3 keeps the front clean, with a small colour gauge and the Haier logo. Nothing flashy, just a neat and tidy unit on the bathroom wall.

Design & Performance

Design and Build

The ES40H-CK3 has a long, rounded white body that mounts horizontally. A small gauge on the front gives a quick view of the heating status. One end carries a round panel with the control knob.

The inner tank is enamelled steel with Haier's UMC tank technology. A magnesium rod inside works to protect the tank from corrosion. Haier rates the tank for 8 bar pressure, which helps in buildings with strong water pressure.

Performance in Daily Use

The 2200W Encology heating element runs on a 220V, 50Hz supply. Haier also lists its High Efficiency Energy Gun technology for this model. A mechanical control lets you set the heat without any digital menus.

The rated temperature is 75°C, with shock proof technology and an IPX4 rating for safety. Heating time is not officially published, as inlet water temperature changes it. Full specs are on the official Haier ES40H-CK3(BD) page.

Who It's For

Families of Four or Five

A household of four or five often needs hot water for several people each morning. The 40 litre tank is sized for that kind of routine. It can save a lot of waiting time between showers.

Flats in Tall Buildings

Many flats in Dhaka sit in high-rise buildings with strong water pressure. An 8 bar pressure rating gives the tank a sturdy margin for such setups. Your plumber may still add a pressure valve if your building needs one.

Buyers Who Want a Classic White Unit

Some people prefer an appliance that does not draw attention. The white CK3 blends quietly with white or light tiles. Find more everyday products for your house in our home appliances section.

Simple Buying Guide

Match Size to People

Think about how many people bathe in the same hour. Two or three can use 30 litres, while four or five suit 40 litres. Big joint families may need 50 litres.

Wall Strength and Space

A full 40 litre tank weighs much more than the empty unit. Mount it only on a solid brick or concrete wall. Leave room around it for future servicing.

Wiring and Earthing

A 2200W heater needs good wiring, a correct breaker and a reliable earth wire. A licensed electrician should test the point before use. For warm rooms in winter, also browse our room heater list.

Easy Steps to Check Before You Order

First, measure your bathroom wall and confirm there is around 560 mm of free width with extra space on both sides.

Next, double check that the wall is solid brick or concrete, because a full 40 litre tank is very heavy.

Then, ask a licensed electrician to inspect the wiring, breaker and earth line for a 2200W electric water heater.

Last, discuss the full hot and cold pipe layout with your plumber before the heater is delivered to your home.
