About the Proton G36S Gaming Mouse

Six DPI Levels for Every Game

The G36S offers 1200, 2400, 3200, 4800, 7200 and 12800 DPI. Low DPI helps with careful aim in shooting games. High DPI moves the cursor fast across large or multiple monitors without lifting the mouse.

Fast 1000Hz Reporting

Polling rate is how often the mouse tells the computer where it is. At 1000Hz, that happens a thousand times every second. This keeps the on-screen cursor close to your real hand movement in fast games.

HUANO Switches and Eight Keys

The main left and right buttons use HUANO switches rated for 5 million clicks. The mouse has eight programmable keys in total for games and work. See more gaming gear in our gaming section to build a full setup.

Design & Performance

Design and Build

The G36S has an ergonomic gaming shape with a sculpted thumb area on the side. Its surface uses a rubber oil coating with laser carving for grip. A coloured RGB strip runs across the back of the shell.

The photos show a sharp, angular design in black with extra buttons near the thumb and top. The listed weight is 110g, which feels solid during quick moves. A wired USB cable of 1.8 metres reaches most desk setups.

Performance in Daily Use

In games, the fast polling rate and high DPI help with quick turns and flicks. Programmable keys can hold actions such as reload, crouch or skill moves. The wired link avoids battery worries during long sessions.

Outside games, the extra keys can act as copy, paste or back shortcuts. The brand lists support for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. Software for key mapping is not confirmed by our sources, so ask our team before ordering.

Who It's For

PC Gamers

Players of shooting, battle royale and strategy games need fast and accurate mouse control. The G36S gives high DPI, fast polling and extra side keys at a budget price. It is a good step up from a basic office mouse for new gamers.

Streamers and Content Creators

RGB lighting looks good on camera and matches a lit-up gaming desk. Extra keys can trigger simple shortcuts during a stream. Pair it with a backlit board from our keyboard collection for a matching setup.

Power Users at Work

Designers and editors also benefit from extra buttons. They can save real time by assigning common actions to a thumb key. High DPI is also helpful on 27-inch screens and dual monitor desks.

Simple Buying Guide

DPI Is Not Everything

Most gamers play between 800 and 3200 DPI. Very high DPI is useful mainly for big screens. A good shape and reliable switches matter just as much.

Check the Grip and Size

Palm grip users like a full, high-backed shape such as this one. Claw and fingertip users may prefer a smaller mouse. Think about how you hold your current mouse.

Compare Other RGB Gaming Mice

There are other budget RGB mice in our store. For example, compare it with the PC Power PCGMG17 RGB gaming mouse. The G36S offers more buttons and a much higher DPI range.

Easy Steps to Check Before You Order

First, check that your gaming PC or laptop has a free USB port close to your gaming desk.

Next, confirm that the 1.8 metre cable can comfortably reach from the computer to your mouse pad.

Then, ask our team about key mapping software if you plan to program the extra keys for games or work.

Last, get a large cloth mouse pad if you plan to play at low DPI. Bigger arm movements need more desk space and a smooth surface.

What's in the Box

Our sources confirm the Proton G36S Wired RGB Gaming Mouse with its attached USB cable. Other box items, such as a manual, are not confirmed, so please ask our team. On delivery, test every button, the DPI levels and the RGB lights.
